RESPONSIVE WEB & MOBILE APP

Modernizing a wellness platform with a responsive, user-centered experience across web and mobile

PROJECT OVERVIEW

GOAL:  Build a flexible, device-agnostic platform to serve a growing global audience seeking support for mental wellbeing, physical health, and end-of-life care.

MY ROLE:  Senior Product Designer collaborating with cross-functional partners across time zones. Led responsive UX for both web and mobile, created scalable design systems, and advocated for accessibility across the product.

BUSINESS CONTEXT: RoundGlass Living is a wellness platform operating on a B2C subscription model (freemium → paid), with secondary partnerships through enterprise wellness programs. Users include individual consumers, wellness professionals, influencers, and end-of-life care specialists.

THE CHALLENGE

The existing product experience was fragmented—separate teams had built web and mobile independently, leading to misaligned flows, inconsistent UI, and unclear content structure. UX was especially strained in premium feature access, which confused users and limited conversion. Internally, priorities shifted frequently, and stakeholders across the org provided competing input. Tight deadlines and limited UX maturity in some teams raised the stakes for every design decision.

App Ratings.png
  • Post-launch App Store ratings stabilized at 4.8+ with an increase in positive feedback referencing ease of use and calming experience.

  • Qualitative user reviews reflected marked improvements in navigation, content discovery, and visual clarity.

  • Internal adoption of the responsive system accelerated—other product teams began reusing key components for new features.

  • Leadership considered the rollout a success and used it as a model for future experience design decisions. Much of the UX and component work from this project also fed directly into the creation of our design system, which I was spearheading in parallel.

What I'm most proud of

This project tested more than just my design skills—it tested my ability to lead through ambiguity. Working across continents, shifting goals, and conflicting stakeholder feedback, I helped define a clear path forward. I learned to be decisive under pressure, collaborative without compromising UX integrity, and strategic about what battles to fight and which to defer.
